Job Summary: The Driver Salesperson will be responsible for both sales and delivery of bottled water and related products to a customer base on specific days. The driver salesperson will be responsible for delivery of 5-gallon/3-gallon water bottles and other products to customer locations. The driver salesperson will be responsible for gaining new customers, retaining current customers, and upselling our products.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Lives and models BROWN VALUES in everything we do.
• Reads through all pre-route reports, download pre-route reports, follows route in handheld as is sequenced, and ensures all products needed are loaded properly on the truck.
• Load and unload truck daily, using forklift and/or pallet jack. Some locations may also unload and load water delivery trailer that is kept on site.
• Provide the best customer service to ensure retention and loyalty.
• Continue to market and sell products to existing and new customers.
• Runs route/service calls profitably, safe, and efficiently.
• Ensure accuracy of daily invoices and payments collected from customers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintains the assigned vehicle(s) is clean and identifies maintenance/safety issues. Operate handheld computer and printer.
• Turns in route book via upload and all paperwork for the day (including any money collected).
• Complete all assigned stops seeking opportunities to sell additional products and services.
• Identify opportunities for new customers to support route development.
• Ensure all products delivered are clean and packages in good repair.

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Drive a vehicle and enter and exit the vehicle multiple times throughout the shift.

Work Environment:

• Work in many different environments: outside, inside, businesses, stores, homes.
• Exposed to cold, hot, and rainy conditions.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and approved driving record.
• Obtain a Class D license upon hire.
• Ability to operate ordering and tracking electronic devices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and managers.
• Forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications:

• Must have an ability to obtain a Class D MS Drivers license with acceptable MVR
