Brown Gibbons Lang & Company is Hiring a Consumer Investment Banking Senior Analyst Near Chicago, IL
The Consumer Team at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is seeking an Investment Banking Senior Analyst to join our team in the Chicago office. BGL’s growing Consumer Team focuses on several key areas: Branded eCommerce, Functional Products, and Food & Beverage, including both upstream and downstream transactions. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary processor of transactions and proposals
- Supports senior bankers in transaction execution and client management
- Performs financial analysis
- Conducts industry research and business due diligence
- Assists senior bankers with new business development
- Participates in marketing efforts
- Develops offering presentation materials
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of previous experience in M&A Investment Banking
- Bachelor’s Degree required (majoring in Business, Finance or Accounting)
- Sell side M&A experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
- Proven track record of strong transaction execution including presentations, financial analysis, transaction marketing documents and preparation of other materials
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Superior work ethic and organization skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Ambitious team player
