Brown Distributing Company is a leading beverage distributor throughout the state of Virginia. Since 1919, Brown Distributing has grown into a beverage distribution business with combined sales of over 3 million cases annually and serving in excess of 3,000 retailers with over 200 employees. 

We are seeking a career-minded Part Time Summer Warehouse Internto join our 2nd Shift and support the Operations Team in Richmond, VA! 

Timeframe: Approximately May-August 

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

12pm-7pm

Average is 25-30 hours per week

Compensation: $20/hour

Responsibilities

• Utilize voice pick software to find and pull the correct items
• Stack items in ties, ensuring minimal breakage
• Maneuver pallets with electric pallet jack to wrapping area
• Aid warehouse team in 5S operations, ensuring a clean and safe work environment
• Work with PM Supervisor for warehouse pick enhancements / product relocations, which aid the pick team
• Work effectively with team members to foster family environment
• Perform any and all other duties 

Qualifications

• Understanding of product stacking techniques
