Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified physicians
- Conduct candidate sourcing activities, including cold calling, networking, and utilizing online platforms
- Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates
- Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and physicians
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to offer acceptance
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain relationships with candidates to build a talent pipeline for future positions
Experience:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar. At least 5 years of experience in physician and/or provider recruitment. Knowledge of provider credentialing process. Effective oral communication skills. Experience in working with an applicant tracking or HRIS system. Analytical skills to identify and solve organizational and interpersonal problems. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with different levels across the organization. Knowledge and experience with physician associations, databases and other sourcing tools for provider talent.
- Proven experience in physician recruitment or healthcare recruitment
- Familiarity with talent management principles and practices
- Knowledge of HR processes, including employee orientation, succession planning, and employee evaluation
- Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive offers for candidates
- Proficiency in using HR software systems such as UltiPro, Kronos, or Salesforce
