SUMMARY
Creates and implements a flexible program and classroom environment favorable to student learning and personal growth. Develops lesson plans consistent with established guidelines. Establish effective rapport with students, staff members, and parents.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years successful experience working with children with disabilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as educational and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Provides directions to teacher assistant(s) assigned to the classroom.
