The Staff Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial operations. This individual will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers; preparing and analyzing budgets; and performing general bookkeeping. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.

· Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and anomalies.

· Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

· Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

· Manage accounts payable and receivable.

· Prepare journal entries, including reconciliations of bank statements.

· Support the implementation of financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

· Collaborate with external auditors, providing essential information and ensuring all financial reports are up-to-date and accurate.

· Assist in the development of recommendations for process improvements.

· Support the CFO and Senior Accountant with special projects as needed.

· Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance the financial operations of the company.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Two to Three years of experience at a Staff Accountant capacity and must have a demonstrated history of performing the responsibilities listed above.
• A strong background in Accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• CPA is a Plus
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must have people and communication skills.

Experience:

• 2 years of Accounting experience
• 5 years of Accounting experience.
