Salary: $150k - $180k 18% bonus
Location: Rhode Island (Generous relocation package available)
Manufacturing Engineering Manager overview
As an Engineering Manufacturing Manager, you will focus on the structure and operation of the engineering function as a cohesive unit, within an Automotive stamping environment. You'll conceptualize and manage the day-to-day of simultaneous projects, delivering manufacturable designs to agreed specifications within time and budget
Responsibilities - Manufacturing Engineering Manager
- Develop strategic planning for the direction and control of engineering activities
- Formulate long-term objectives and standards of performance for the department
- Participate in NPI, APQP, FMEA, processes as required.
- Ensure the department achieves objectives and project completion within budget and time frame
- Investigate root causes and implement corrective action
Experience - Manufacturing Engineering Manager
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
- Automotive – 5 years
- Management – 8 years
- Stamping / high speed stamping
- Ability to apply concepts of basic geometry and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Lean Principals
- Demonstrated ability to build a team in a collaborative environment
