Senior Manager of Software Development

Brooksource is searching for a Senior Manager of Software Development to join its Fortune 75 Telecommunications client in the South End area of Charlotte, NC. This team is looking for a natural leader to oversee 22 developers that are helping to develop and support operational applications used both internally and externally. You’d be joining a heads up, engaging, and high energy team with high visibility and growth opportunity.

Day to day responsibilities:

· Interact with developers to ensure they feel solid in their direction and understanding of project scope/timelines

· Assist developers when roadblocks arise, using technical knowledge

· Lead peer reviews

· Interact with business users to understand needs for new applications or improvements of existing applications

Requirements

· Proficient in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, and Lambda, for scalable and resilient application architectures.

· Mastery of .NET framework for robust backend development, ensuring efficient data processing and application logic.

· Advanced knowledge of React.js for building responsive and dynamic user interfaces, enhancing user experience.

· Proven track record as a team leader, guiding and motivating cross-functional teams towards project success.

· Recognized for innovative problem-solving abilities, consistently implementing cutting-edge solutions to complex challenges.

· Expertise in agile methodologies, facilitating rapid development cycles and continuous improvement within teams.

· Strong communication skills, adept at conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Strategic thinker, capable of aligning development efforts with organizational goals and market trends.

· Skilled in fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting creativity and productivity.
