Hennepin Home Health Care is Hiring a Community Support Specialist (ARMHS) Near Minneapolis, MN
Job Description
Hennepin Home Health Care is expanding their ARMHS (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services) department and are seeking qualified Mental Health Practitioners in the Twin Cities to join our team. Come work for a supportive company that provides avenues for expanding your skills and career path.
As a ARMHS practitioner you will focus on providing mental health support including: Mental illness symptom management; Community resource utilization and integration; Crisis assistance; Relapse prevention; Household management; Healthy lifestyle skills and practices. For consideration, you must meet one of the following education and/or experience requirements:
- Master's degree in behavioral sciences or related field
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field and completes a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields
- Completion of 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related fields with a minimum 2,000 hours of supervised experience working with mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders
- No degree with a minimum of 4,000 hours supervised experience working with mental illness, substance abuse disorders and/or emotional disturbances.
