We’re excited to be looking for a Retention Marketing Associate to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. Reporting to our Manager of Retention Marketing, you will support the team in reaching our ever-expanding audience through email and retention marketing efforts. 

You’re perfect for this role if you’re eager to learn, excited about the world of retention marketing, and are interested in working in a hands-on and collaborative environment.

This role is based in Brooklyn, NY, and we have a 2 days in/3 days remote schedule.

What you’ll do

• Conduct weekly product audits and build email flows
• QA all emails, ensuring content is relevant and links work to provide the customer with a good email to site experience
• Create and submit creative briefs based on campaign needs
• Partner with team in building and reviewing email flows to meet quality assurance requirements and drive various campaign strategies
• Partner with Senior Retention Associate to share and facilitate creative and design feedback
• Build and maintain cross-functional relationships to ensure the free flow of information and feedback
• Own weekly/monthly reporting updates to provide team with insights and recommendations

We're looking for someone who brings

• 0-1 year of retention marketing experience; prior exposure to email and retention marketing channels preferred
• Basic understanding of retention marketing and an interest in email marketing
• Proven track record of organized and thoughtful work
• Possesses critical thinking skills and an action-oriented mindset
• Basic experience with email software programs
• HTML experience and a basic understanding of URLs/UTMs is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

At Brooklinen, our goal is to offer a competitive total compensation package which we determine based on specific market data taking into account our company size, stage, industry, and location. The base salary for this role is $60K.

Beyond base salary, we contribute significantly to offset the cost of health benefits, offer a 401K with a 4% Safe Harbour match, have commuter benefits, and also provide a yearly product allowance. 

We have 14 weeks of 100% paid parental leave for all new parents, year-long Summer Fridays, a workday that starts at 10 am, four weeks of vacation, and a one-month paid sabbatical at your 5th anniversary.
