Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Machine Production Lead, the Machine Operator – Pleating will be responsible for Proper safe and efficient operation of pleating machines and the delivery of quality pleatpacks to the assembly line on time and the correct quantities required. Always following the Production Pack directions and times and defending the Production Plan. The Pleating Operator oversees the production of filter ‘pleatpacks’ using the laminated media rolls- as well as ensuring production procedures run smoothly to maximize efficiency and keep overall production on schedule.

• Operate according to established Pleating Operator SOPs (Standard Operator Procedures).
• Start machinery and make sure all materials are readily available.
• Configure the machines (power on, calibration, number of pleats per filter, pleat height, cleaning, speed) to start a production cycle.
• Inspect raw materials with precision and measuring tools. Reject unacceptable quality in materials to be pleated and return to the lamination department for their analysis and improvement – maintain the customer / supplier relationship with the Lamination department.
• Test the operation of the machine periodically.
• Perform production tasks, inspection, monitoring, and quality control.
• Effectively monitor the pleating machine.
• Carry out the production of the material in the assigned machine according to the instructions provided in the training.
• Keep the workspace safe and clean.
• Take control of units or final products approved and defective.
• Register the activities, and at the end of the day enter the information on the platform of the total amount of raw material used.
