Job Details Job Location Brook Hollow Golf Club - Dallas, TX Description Part-time Server Attendant/Food Runner Compensation: $16 PER HOUR Established in 1920, Brook Hollow Golf Club enjoys a strong reputation as one of Dallas' most historic and exclusive private clubs. World-class facilities including a fully renovated golf course that was completed in 2020, a sports complex for tennis, pickleball, wellness and swimming, and a famed ballroom in which are presented some of Dallas' most memorable and fashionable social events. During the past twenty years, Brook Hollow has renovated or replaced substantially all of its facilities. Summary: Brook Hollow is adding full-time Food Runner/Expeditor who sets and cleans dining room tables before, during and after meal service. Responsibilities:
Sets up side station and performs assigned side work
Assists servers in their tasks
Serves water as guests are seated
Assists in carrying food trays to tables
Removes soiled dishes from table; brings to dish washing area
Removes soiled linen and replaces with clean linen
Sets tables with silverware, glassware and clean linen
Cleans the floors in the dining room
Stocks server's station with supplies
Collects trash from dining room, grill and other specified places after each serving period
Dusts chairs before and after meals
Keeps ice bins and buckets filled
Attends pre-meal meetings as determined by Dining Room Manager
Performs additional duties as directed by a supervisor or manager
Job Requirements:
Must be able to work a FLEXIBLE schedule and/or over time if needed.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Must be TABC certified.
Must work well with others as a team and help co-workers as needed.
Must have an outgoing personality.
Should have an eye for detail.
Must possess honesty and integrity.
Must be courteous and tactful at all times.
Must be innovative and look for areas that need improvement.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to use hands to finger, to handle, feel objects, tools and/or controls.
Must be able to understand and communicate verbally and in writing in English with members, guests and co-workers.
