Brompton is Hiring an User Experience and Research Digital Designer Near Greenford, OH

The role:

Future Product Research looks at the five-year horizon and beyond. We are responsible for identifying and defining new opportunities and problems Brompton can win at solving. Evolutionary developments are not our remit; our objective is to have a 10x impact through detailed analysis and foundational understanding of how value is generated for our users and how Brompton can gain a strategic advantage.

This role is about defining a new direction for Brompton, enabling a lifetime of urban mobility for our users. We are looking to bring in a UX Designer to deep dive into the services and digital solutions Brompton can offer that will enable us to create a best-in-class experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research, identifying pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities to give our users urban freedom though a digital product that works with our physical products.
  • Conduct end-to-end service design projects from the creative phase to roll out, working in collaboration with Developers and Product Managers.
  • Engage and collaborate with a range of stakeholders, including product managers, designers, developers, and business heads, to align on the service's vision and deliver a consistent experience.
  • Quantify the costs and income generating opportunities including payback period of any new proposal.
  • Experience working with a range of prototyping tools including but not limited to: Figma, Adobe XD, ProtoPie, Sketch, Axure and any other relevant tools

Who you are:

  • Thrives in operating in an undefined problem space.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and is confident with pivoting quickly as they learn more about the problem space.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in a startup environment where they have taken responsibility for the early-stage service design.
  • Ability to prototype digital products and test them with real users.
  • Ability to define and implement user research studies, generate and develop responses and test the effectiveness of the intervention
  • Confident using Digital Service Design tools as well as early stage validation techniques
  • A proven track record in successfully developing a service proposition is vital.
