- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in performing in depth financial modeling and able to articulate the results.
- Assist project teams with financial guidance in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Mentor and train other staff members as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ previous experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to execute and follow-through on assigned responsibilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Team player.
