BroadPharm is a fast-growing biotech company specializing in manufacturing and supplying high purity PEG linkers, lipid molecules, and other biochemical products for our customers worldwide. We are seeking a highly motivated research associate to join our dynamic organic chemistry team.

Responsibilities

• Design synthetic route and execute organic syntheses as well as purification of advanced biochemical products, use latest scientific advances and creative solutions to solve challenging synthetic issues;
• Contribute to scientific and technical discussions with co-workers and clients to plan, execute, resolve issues;
• Prioritize the chemistry efforts to ensure timeline adherence and project alignment to meet group and company goals.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry with minimum 2-5 years of strong lab experience;
• Expert knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry, analytical methods (especially NMR, LC/MS) and characterization of compounds;
• Knowledge and experience in process chemistry is plus;
• Experience in lipids or conjugation linker or nanoparticle formulation preferred;
• Excellent organizational skills, with ability to successfully manage multiple priorities;
• Strong oral and written communications skills;
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
• Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, with proven ability to work independently;
• Highly proficient in office software, such as Word, Excel, and Chemdraw.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
