Overview

A private family in Palo Alto is seeking a local live-out nanny to start immediately. The schedule can be Monday through Friday, 7am-5pm, with the flexibility to stay late or stay over when needed. You will be responsible for caring for their 2 and 4.5-year-old.

Responsibilities

• Planning and executing developmentally appropriate activities that keep them busy and encourage their curiosity and creativity (outings to parks, museums, and classes and projects, games, and play-dates in and out of the home)
• Helping active and engaged parents keep the child's life running smoothly 
• Keeping the child's spaces tidy and organized 
• Managing clothing and laundry
• Managing nap and feeding schedules
• Meal preparation for the children
• A warm and easygoing attitude
• Comfort with jumping in and out of family time (if parents want to take the children for the afternoon, nanny should be comfortable staying at home and completing a relevant project like meal prep or organization)

• They will be able to maintain boundaries and encourage manners and good behavior while also catering to the children's varied interests and fostering a love of learning. 

Requirements

• Extensive newborn and toddler experience, as well as child development knowledge. 
• A college degree is required and a background in childhood education is a huge plus!
• Experience with ADHD and neurodivergent children is needed.
• This position requires a COVID vaccination.
• Travel both domestically and internationally so the candidate should be willing and able to accompany them as needed
• A driver's license is required for this role.
• Legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits

• Salary ranges from $125-$150k
• $300 per month toward health
