Our private Fairfield office is seeking for an experienced Dental Office Administrator and Dental assistant.
Responsibilities : - Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow - Greet and check-in patients, providing excellent customer service - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar to reach goals - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of medical information - Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication with patients and staff - Coordinate with staff to ensure timely patient care - Manage insurance verification
minimal claims and treatment planning as needed when OM is out
Skills : - Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite -Average typing speed of 45 wpm.
Excellent patient service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor - Experience with medical scheduling software such as Eaglesoft - Knowledge of dental terminology and ability to accurately maintain medical records - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality - Previous experience as dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
