Summary:

The Associate Director will have the opportunity to work on the biggest brand at BMS and one of the biggest in the world. They will have three main areas of responsibilities: Leading market expansion strategy, managing Touchpoint Optimization and future CE3 roll-out as part of New Commercialization Model, and supporting the newly established CV account manager team. Other responsibilities include congress strategy, health IT management, Alliance support, etc. This role is critical as part of the marketing team to further solidify Eliquis’ position in the market by winning in innovative ways. The position will report to the Director, Market Expansion & Strategy and Operations, US Eliquis Marketing and be part of the US brand team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop promotional strategy and materials across professional and consumer to support market expansion business opportunities, in partnership with Pfizer counterpart.
  • Contribute to the strategic brand choices and lead execution of key initiatives, primarily Touchpoint Optimization and transition to NCM CE3, partnering with business unit S&O and Eliquis matrix team.
  • Lead & support congress efforts (national congresses include AHA and ACC; regional opportunities, as well as local congresses funded by the marketing team) in partnership with the team.
  • Provide operations and strategic support to the CV account manager team of 7
  • Work closely with other members of the CV Matrix Teams (i.e., medical strategy, sales training, sales operations, professional marketing, consumer marketing, payer marketing, market research) to ensure successful and timely execution of brand tactics.
  • Collaborate effectively with medical, legal, and promotional compliance team (Alliance PReP) to develop and execute high impact marketing materials.
  • Collaborate effectively across the Pfizer BMS Eliquis Alliance on a daily basis to shape strategy and execute market expansion and congress tactics.
  • Drive partnership and data exchange with US marketing, medical, sales, finance, market research, analytics, and worldwide marketing.
  • Partner with CV Matrix Teams to support long term financial, strategic and brand planning processes for ELIQUIS as well as any subsequent CV portfolio additions.
  • Candidate will receive additional ongoing training within CV to further their career development.

Qualifications:

  •  BA/BS with MBA strongly preferred; or PharmD with relevant commercial experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare-related industry preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to structure ambiguous challenges and opportunities, along with an ability to drive the execution of initiatives ranging from pilot to large scale.
  • Ability to approach problems with speed and rigor, interpret data and ask thought-provoking questions, and identify innovative solutions to marketing challenges.
  • US Marketing experience, especially experience interacting with the sales force preferred. Demonstrated success working with and leading matrix teams to accomplish goals.
  • Experience in managing external resources and partners, including agencies, and collaborating with the BMS Omnichannel hub.
  • Experience in utilizing primary and secondary market research, optimizing limited resources.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills, excellent communications skills; Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
