• Providing Software Application Support : Under the supervision of a senior engineer, the application support engineer assists with software application maintenance and support.
• Analyzing Functionality : They analyze software application TRAX / Expensys functionality and suggest improvements to enhance performance.
• Front-End and Back-End Functionality : Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications is part of their responsibilities.
• Collaborating with Teams : They consult with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.ssss
• Code Migration : Managing code migration across different environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
• Root Cause Analysis : Identifying the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns to senior engineers.
• Configuration Changes and Updates : Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
• Documentation and Monitoring : Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics.
• Front-End Support : Providing front-end support to clients and colleagues in other departments.

Application Support Engineer Requirements :

• Problem-Solving Skills : Exceptional ability to determine the causes of application errors and repair them specific to banking and financial apps /
• Education in computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Experience : Demonstrable experience as an application support engineer in a related field.
• Programming Languages : Advanced knowledge of front-end and back-end programming languages to enable troubleshooting
• Security Knowledge : Familiarity with Advanced Encryption Standards (AES).
