Brightview is Hiring a Remote Landscape Designer

Looking for an opportunity where success comes naturally? Then you may have found your crew. We’re looking for a Designer to join our team.

Here’s what you’d do:

A Designer requires a high level of creativity, organization and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with fresh ideas, committed to staying on the leading edge of design, plant introductions, and new technology.

You’d be responsible for:

  • Working with fellow Designers, Project Managers, and Principals to meet project needs
  • Ensuring quality, accuracy, and completeness of project work
  • Engaging in and promote a collaborative work environment
  • Understanding project goals and processes
  • Developing the skills required to produce products in support of the work
  • Learning and apply office standards
  • Initiating team initiatives
  • Communicating with clients and consultants in a professional manner

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Contracting
  • 3 years of full-time experience in Landscape Design, preferably commercial design
  • Proficient with computer software programs including Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hand drawing skills a plus
  • Strong horticultural knowledge
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Licensure an added benefit but not required.

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

  • Knowledge of 3DS Max and Revit desirable
  • Strong horticultural knowledge
  • Strong work ethic
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Licensure desired but not required
