Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and certified Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist at BrightStar Care, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate and timely laboratory results, contributing to the overall excellence of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
- Adhere to quality control and quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and relevant information for patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, procedures, and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
