You are who we are looking for! Brightstar care is currently looking for a Home Health Aide to support an individual in their quest to remain independent at home. Hours for this assignment: Fri 11p-8a Sat 6p-7a and Sun 8p-7a.

We ensure our Home Health Aides have the skills they need to be successful in caring for our clients through competency demonstration in our on-site simulation lab. We also offer client-specific skill enhancement opportunities in the home when indicated. Necessary personal protective equipment is provided so that you can feel confident and safe when you care for your clients.
Requirements:
● High School Diploma or GED
● Ability to obtain BLS CPR certification. (in house classes are offered at a reduced rate)
● Recent wellness exam and negative TB skin test (provided if needed)
● Ability to pass a comprehensive fingerprint/background check and drug screening.
● Ensures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information.
● Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
● Valid Driver’s license in good standing and Active auto insurance. (some exceptions considered)
● Previous caregiver/HHA or related healthcare experience preferred. Baseline skills are required and will be verified in our skills competency lab.
