Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Piano Teacher to join our team. As a Piano Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans based on students' needs and goals
- Teach students proper piano techniques, music theory, and sight-reading skills
- Select appropriate repertoire for students to practice and perform
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and goals
- Collaborate with other music teachers to coordinate performances and recitals
Requirements:
- Proven experience teaching piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
- Strong knowledge of piano techniques, music theory, and sight-reading
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching music
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple students effectively
Skills:
- Experience working with both children and adults in an educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Ability to develop curriculum tailored to different age groups
- Familiarity with various teaching methods and resources
- Proficiency in playing the piano at an advanced level
Note: This is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
