Commercial Electrical Foreman

$60k to $65k a year depending on experience.

You will be assigned to various projects. Your responsibility will be to supervise the projects from Pre-Construction to completion. You will be responsible for providing on-site direction and leadership for workers to complete jobs within specific guidelines that include quality standards, time requirements, and budget considerations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and submitting weekly time sheet reports to management
  • Taking progress photos and updating management with daily reports
  • Scheduling and meeting with inspectors as required.
  • This is a working foreman position - Installing and terminating Distribution Centers, Panel Boards, Service Entrance Section, Transformers, Disconnects, Lighting and motor controls.
  • Skillfully planning and organizing field personnel tasks in an effective manner to meet job deadlines.
  • Maintaining and properly storing all tools, materials, and equipment while keeping a weekly log and inventory sheet.
  • Able to consistently report to your assigned job on time and as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Identify changes in scope and submit data for management to supply a change order.
  • Able to interpret electrical construction blueprints.
  • Technical knowledge to safely work with live/energized equipment.
  • Maintain company supplied and personal hand tools per company policy.
  • Read and understand special systems, security, and fire alarms.
  • Evaluating electrical specifications and performance criteria
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • Able to safely and without assistance lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Possess the strength and stability to climb ladders, bend, and stoop for long segments of time.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • 4 - 6 years’ experience as an Electrical Foreman
  • 10 - 15 years of proven Commercial Electrical experience
  • Proficient in installing and terminating Distribution Centers, Panel Boards, Service Entrance Section, Transformers, Disconnects, Lighting and motor controls.
  • Experience working in office space, healthcare facilities, retail, Big Box retail, and smaller strip center stores.
  • Experience with site work, underground, remodeling, white-box, and new construction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, PlanHub, Scheduling Software.
  • Must be computer skills with spreadsheets, sending pictures, progress reports, change orders, Excel & Word programs.

Job Type: Full-time Working Foreman

Pay: $60 - $65k annual Salary

  • All Work in the Atlanta and surrounding areas

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • OSHA 30
  • Pass a background check.
