Bright Eyes Vision is Hiring an Optician Near Dallas, TX

Bright Eyes Vision is looking for a full-time optician to join our busy, growing private practice! We focus on the customer experience and believe that the best way to do this is to provide a supportive and encouraging work environment for our team to thrive!

We offer competitive pay and benefits package including paid time-off, paid holidays, 401K, 401K matching, health insurance, and of course, employee discounts including free eyecare and eyewear! We are only open Monday-Friday, so no weekends required!

We are looking for a detailed-oriented person with a positive attitude who genuinely enjoys working with people. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients with a smile and checking them in
  • Answering phone calls and making appointments
  • Verifying insurance benefits
  • Knowledge of various insurance plans
  • Assist patients in choosing their eyewear based on their prescription, style, and lifestyle needs
  • Properly adjust and fit eyewear
  • Dispensing eyewear
  • Enter eyewear orders into computer system
  • Manage and maintain optical inventory
  • Meet with various optical vendors

Experience required:

  • At least one year of optical experience or two years of general optometry/ophthalmology experience

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
