Bright Eyes Milford is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Manager!

Become a key player in our mission to provide personalized, compassionate eyecare with a stylish twist. We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic office manager to lead growing team.

About the Role:

The Office Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our optometry practice. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, staff supervision, and contributing to the overall success of the practice.

Responsibilities:

Practice Management:

  • Oversee daily operations and workflow for the entire practice.
  • Manage patient scheduling and appointment reminders.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies and manage patient billing and collections.
  • Oversee inventory management of frames, lenses, and other supplies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Human Resources:

  • Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, and training.
  • Schedule and conduct staff performance reviews.
  • Manage employee benefits and payroll.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment.

Marketing and Communication:

  • Assist with marketing initiatives to promote the practice and attract new patients.
  • Manage the practice website and social media presence (optional).
  • Answer phones and emails in a professional manner and address patient inquiries effectively.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting the doctor with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintaining the office and equipment.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an office management or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing practices (a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient service.
