Briggs Ranch Golf Club is Hiring a Golf Shop Attendant Near San Antonio, TX

Truly a course interesting yet friendly enough to play every day, Briggs Ranch is the epitome of pure understated Texas. The massive iron gate greets you at Briggs Ranch, but once you drive past the Spanish-styled clubhouse and hook right to pass the lit putting green, the casitas are what truly bring you home. JOB SUMMARY
Promptly assist members and guests in the golf shop area with merchandise and booking inquiries. Consistently provide exceptional guest service in all interactions with members, guests and employees.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Check in members and guests and assign golf carts. Maintains logs.
  • Assist members and guests with merchandise questions.
  • Cash out members and guests and maintain/monitor the front counter.
  • Ensure merchandise displays are maintained.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the pro shop.
  • Handle requests of members in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assist with merchandise inventory when needed.
  • Assists other areas of the club as needed.
  • Maintains club personal appearance standards. Wears assigned uniforms.
  • Adheres to all Dormie Network’s policies and procedures.
  • Works with all other employees to become an efficient working team.
  • Will work both opening and closing shifts - reliability and punctuality are are must.
  • Must be well mannered, display a smile at all times, greet guests, members, and fellow employees when encountered, show appreciation to the guests and the members, and demonstrate a willingness to help guests and members at all times.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service position preferred.
PHYISCAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Able to bend, stretch, twist, and turn.
  • Must be able to visually inspect merchandise items and member clubs for cleanliness.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to communicate with others.
