We are currently seeking a Medical Records Coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
- Implement facility policies and procedures to organize and maintain the medical record (health information) system in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
- Maintain a medical record system to meet the needs of the facility residents
- Protect medical record information from loss, defacing or destruction before the retention period ends
- Identify incomplete, late and inaccurate documentation and follow-up to ensure information is complete and correct.
- Respond timely and appropriately to all requests for medical records
Requirements:
- Medical Record experience/ preferably SNF and Long Term Care
- Must be organized, thorough, and detail oriented.
- Managing all aspects of the patient record from Admission to Discharge.
- Will be splitting time between Bridgewater and Hillsborough locations, based on needs in the respective buildings
