Addictions Treatment Specialists for our Stabilization Housing Program

Come join our growing residential treatment program teams where you will work alongside those that are passionate about seeing lives changed and relationships restored!

PRIMARY PURPOSE

This program support position will work within a multidisciplinary team including a care coordinator, a recovery mentor/peer navigator, and other Addiction Treatment Specialists. Working closely with clients living in our stabilization housing program. Responsible for supporting and caring for clients residing in Bridgeway's stabilization home (Lupe's House). Assists in the implementation of an educational and supportive treatment environment. Engages in positive and appropriate relationship building with clients, resource community partners and co-workers. The person in this position is expected to support the agency's mission.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitors and maintains the safety of the stabilization home. • Assists in the day-to-day operation of the stabilization home by performing tasks as assigned by the program supervisor. • Develops and maintains a positive relationship with everyone served. • Provides monitoring, care, and support to clients in accordance with Bridgeway Recovery Services policies. • Responsible for the quality of home life, total home climate, and physical condition of the house. • Assists and teaches individuals served to care for themselves in daily living tasks and social skills areas. • Conducts hourly bed checks if working overnight. • Accurately documents the support provided in the client's electronic health record. • Counts and records equipment and household products for inventory. • Maintains an organized and clean work environment. • Performs sanitation duties (i.e. cleaning common area, sweeping, mopping, wiping down counter tops. • Interacts with ambulance and police department according to established policies. • Maintains all required necessary logs and ensures log reflects the activities of the shift. • Informs the supervisor of any problems and make notations in electronic health record. • Performs any other task that will assist the agency in carrying out Bridgeway policies and procedures.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attends staff meetings and works as a team member to identify and implement quality of services. • Attends Bridgeway committee/s as a program representative. • Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A. Experience, Education and Credentials

• Typically requires a High School Diploma or General Education Certificate (GED) • Must posses current Oregon Food Handler card or become certified within two weeks of hire date. • Must be CPR/First Aid certified or become certified within two weeks of hire date. • Must possess current and unrestricted Oregon driver's license. • In addition to a high school level education, preference is given to candidates enrolled in a college- level degree program and working towards gaining certification in a Human Services related field.

B. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and time management skills required to work effectively. • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing, manage time and meet deadlines. • Understand and follow oral and written instructions. • Qualified candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check. • Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated before employment start date.

Compensation

  • $16-18/hour, depending on experience and credentials. $3/hour night stipend differential is paid, as applicable.
  • An additional stipend is available for Spanish/English bilingual employees
