A national franchise with over 165 stores nationwide, is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician position in the San Antonio area. Serving customers is a key to success in this position! We provide a customer-focused program that includes vehicle sales, financing, and unbeatable service. We are currently seeking an experienced technician to support our efforts in vehicle servicing, repairs, and reconditioning.

As a Service Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Keep abreast of the latest technological advances in the automotive repair industry and progress towards ASE certification. ASE certification is preferred.
• Complete required vehicle inspections to prepare vehicles for repair.
• Safely and efficiently perform approved vehicle repairs using established company and industry guidelines.
• Maintain Service Department image, per housekeeping and safety standards, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
• Maintain facility to expected standards. This would include building, equipment, parking lot, grounds and any other issue that could create a safety hazard.
• Participate in required company meetings.
• Participate in any vendor training programs and maintain a friendly working relationship with all vendors.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by his or her supervisor.
• Adhere to personal image and dress standards as established by J.D. Byrider policies.
• Establish and maintain a smooth and effective working relationship with all store and home office departments.

We are seeking a team player with 3-5- years' experience with proven experience in automotive and customer service. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong organizational, communication, must have a current and valid driver's license and must meet all the requirements for insurability by JD Byrider's auto insurance carrier.
