Bridgeline Staffing is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Near Mesa, AZ

We are seeking a School-Based Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Tempe area. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting students with speech and language needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other school staff.

Responsibilities:

  • - Implement speech and language therapy services for students as directed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • - Assist the SLP with assessment, treatment planning, and progress monitoring
  • - Use evidence-based interventions and techniques to support students' speech and language development
  • - Collaborate with other school staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers, to support student's academic and social-emotional needs
  • - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and behavior
  • - Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities as required

Requirements:

  • - Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
  • - Arizona SLPA licensure
  • - Knowledge of speech and language therapy techniques and interventions
  • - Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary clearances
  • - Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • - Ability to work collaboratively with other school staff
This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate and benefits package. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with hours to be determined by the school's needs.
