Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable professional caregiver to join our team for morning and afternoon shifts. As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to providing personal care, assisting with meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and engaging clients in recreational activities. This position requires patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and transportation to appointments or recreational outings.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals and maintain accurate records.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including tidying up living areas, laundry, and basic cleaning.
• Engage clients in recreational activities and social interactions to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior and report concerns to appropriate supervisors.
• Maintain open communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure individual needs are met effectively.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid obtained within the first 60 days.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work morning shifts from 5:00 am to 9:00 am and afternoon shifts from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
• Must pass a background check.
