About the Role

Bricks R Us is looking for a detail-oriented and team-oriented individual to join our Accounting team. As an Accounting Associate, you will provide exceptional accounting services for Bricks R Us’ clients. The Accounting Associate works directly with team members to ensure timeliness and accuracy of all accounting information and reports.

Overview of Responsibilities

· Entering, tracking, and reconciling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, and end-of-day sales receipts

· Reconciliation and preparation of client sales tax reports and financial statements

· Written and verbal communication with staff, vendors, or clients

· Accurate and timely data entry

Salary

· $45,500 annually

Knowledge / Experience / Skills Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Associates Degree with 3 years’ experience

· QuickBooks Online experience preferred

· Excellent customer service skills; ability to work with other people on sensitive financial issues; ability to communicate orally and in writing with a wide variety of clients.

· Experience using Microsoft Office 365 software, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Outlook

· Ability to learn and use new computer programs

· Proficient computer skills to analyze, research, and maintain financial data and develop financial documents and reports.

· Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

· Professional demeanor, dress and conduct
