Social Services Assistant Responsibilities:

  • As a social services assistant, you will assist the social services director with the implementation of social services programs.
  • You will help the residents become acquainted with community resources.
  • You will conduct social services checks on residents and follow up on behavior reports under the supervision of the Director.
  • You will assist with resolving resident grievances.

Social Services Coordinator Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in a social services position in long term care or nursing homes.
  • Experience with discharge planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Experience in long-term care preferred.
