Wound Care Nurse Responsibilities:

• As a wound care nurse you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments.
• You will monitor activities performed by nursing assistants and other nurses in your unit.
• You will chart and maintain documentation for residents.
• You will prepare and administer medications.
• You will develop and maintain a positive working rapport with all team members.

Wound Care Nurse Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• A valid, current nursing license in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least three years experience in long term care.
