Brewster Academy, an independent co-educational boarding and day school located in Wolfeboro, NH, is seeking an instructional support teacher for the 2024 - 2025 academic year. The primary responsibility includes providing 4 sections of instructional support at various grade levels. In addition to teaching, candidates will be expected to serve as an advisor to a group of 6-8 students, coach an afternoon sport, lead or support other co-curricular activities, and live in a dorm or serve as a dorm affiliate.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
Qualified candidates possess at least a bachelor’s degree in special education/academic support and expertise in the subject matter, experience designing and delivering differentiated instruction and creating learning experiences that challenge and support each student, strong interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of the developmental needs of high school students, and enthusiasm for working in a culturally and linguistically diverse boarding school environment.
