$15.52 to $17.07 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area/Melbourne/Travels Countywide. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Performs entry-level service work maintaining and making simple repairs to County grounds, buildings, roads, parks, and other facilities.

REQUIREMENTS: No formal training or experience is required. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. This is heavy physical work that involves exposure to dirt, dust, noise, insects, fumes, working in and around moving equipment and traffic, and extreme weather conditions. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
