A Magnet-designated healthcare system in Massachusetts is searching for a Nursing Supervisor for one of its hospitals on Cape Cod. In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance to clinical staff. while promoting excellence in care for patients and families across the continuum. You will oversee triage, patient care, and case management, and serve as a clinical resource to staff. This is a great opportunity for an RN who is ready to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities:
- Mentor and lead clinical nursing staff.
- Assign staff to patients and maintain adequate and safe staffing ratios.
- Facilitate timely admissions and discharges to optimize clinical capacity.
- Participate in performance management of staff, including coaching, preparing performance evaluations, and initiating disciplinary actions as appropriate.
- Maintain communication documentation and electronic logbooks related to admissions, discharges, transfers, deaths, quality tracking, and unusual occurrences.
Qualifications:
- A BSN is required.
- Active RN license.
- 3 years of experience in an acute care setting.
Additional info:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Two shifts available, 36-40 hours per week
- Pay $100,000-$125,000, depending on experience, bonuses
