A renowned Magnet hospital in Boston is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Medical Step-Down Unit. In this role, you will provide direct care for intermediate-level medical patients and play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care in a 27-bed IMCU Medical Step-Down Unit.
• Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments and plan interventions to meet patients’ needs.
• Document care provided and the patient’s progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and how to manage their care after discharge.
• Administer medications to patients as directed.

Qualifications:

• A BSN is required within 4 years of employment.
• Active RN License
• 1 years of RN experience.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Schedule: 3x12, 7p-7a
• Pay: $38-75/hr., depending on experience, differentials.
