A renowned hospital in Western New Hampshire is searching for Registered Nurses for its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. In this role, you will be key in patient experience post-surgery, from continuous assessment to assuring patient safety, comfort, continuity of care, and post-surgical education. Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs for continuous assessment in the PACU.
• Monitor patients for changes in status and indications of conditions, including respiratory depression, and institute appropriate interventions.
• Provide post-surgical education to patients, create & maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment, and monitor the patient’s physical and emotional well-being throughout the surgical care continuum.
• Document and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing actions and ensure a safe environment.
• Work alongside other departments to ensure the continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Active RN License.
