A renowned hospital in Western New Hampshire is searching for Registered Nurses for its Endoscopy Unit. In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients within the department. You will engage in caring relationships with patients and families, work collaboratively with other healthcare staff, and use sound judgment while performing nursing and medical interventions. Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for procedures, administer moderate sedation under the direction of the gastroenterologist, and provide post-procedure care for same-day patients.
• Develop, evaluate, and revise the patient's care plan in response to the patient's needs.
• Document care provided and the patient’s progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and how to manage their care after discharge or transfer.
• Administer medication to patients as directed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license.
