Brentwood School, one of Gainesville's most trusted private schools, is looking for an experienced, nurturing Preschool and Elementary assistant teachers to join our staff for the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with a class of Preschool or Elementary students Monday - Friday.
• Extra after-school care hours also potentially available.
• Assist the lead teachers as they plan, prepare and deliver a developmentally appropriate and creatively engaging grade level program.
• Provide active and engaging hands-on experiences as part of the curriculum.
• Assess and document each student’s progress and provide regular feedback to lead teacher.

Qualifications

• Associate's/Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a teacher in similar position preferred
• The ability to work positively and professionally with students, parents and faculty

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
