Brentwood Hospital is looking for a dynamic Utilization Review Coordinator, PRN to join our team of professionals who are dedicated to providing help and hope to individuals and families for the achievement of improving their mental health as a local pain management clinic.

The Utilization Review Coordinator, PRN proactively monitors utilization of continuum services and optimize reimbursement for the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Conducts initial reviews, monitors for appropriateness & need for referral to Business Office and / or physician.
• Maintains contact with Intake / B.O. to stay abreast of admissions; Promptly and accurately obtain data from individuals conducting initial assessments and business office to initiate pre-authorization procedures and benefits.
• Notifies business office of incorrect payers.
• Conducts concurrent and extended stay reviews ; is pro-active and independent in gathering information for reviews from the patient record;

Qualifications

• Education : High School diploma required; BS or BA preferred;
• Experience : Experience in Utilization review preferred; Mental Health experience preferred
• Hours : Determined by the Director of Utilization Review
