ACCOUNT MANAGER, MATERIAL SCIENCE

Our team in Toledo currently has an opening for a Account Manager, Material Science

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and develop accounts with priority of the top 20%
• Grow new and maintains existing accounts within industry and territory
• Prospect for new customers
• Develop technical expertise relative to strategic products and product lines
• Establish plans for the retention, and subsequent growth, of customers directed to Brenntag Specialties from turnover programs with principals
• Assist in the identification of new products or product lines to strengthen the existing product offerings to a defined category of customers throughout the geography (“selling the full portfolio”)
• Understand and utilizes CRM
• Enter data into the CRM which includes, but is not limited to, market intelligence, competitor intelligence, sampling practices, call summaries, variance reports, growth pipeline, etc.
• Achieve sales levels set forth by company to meet annual targets
• Achieve gross profit levels set forth to assure territory growth on an annual basis
• Develop and maintains good working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Conduct market research
• Maintain presence with various industrial societies

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred
• Five years of sales experience
