What We Need:

We're seeking a Promotions Assistant to assist the promotions and marketing departments. This position is vital to the planning and execution of radio station contests, promotions, events and community programs. Attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, high level customer service and ability to problem solve are essential in this role. Hours will vary but will mostly be during standard business hours (Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm) with occasional nights/weekend shifts for special events.

What You'll Do:

* Manage prize fulfillment for promotional contests

* Customer support

* Draft contest rules

* Create recaps for promotional campaigns

* Schedule weekly contesting & on-air promotions for stations

Manage concert/event calendars

* Create online contest pages for concerts/events

* Set up promotional text campaigns

* Create website calendar listings

* Event preparation

* Execute promotions such as remotes, events, van appearances and other marketing and promotions team activities

* Set up and break down audio equipment, promotional tents, hang banners and other staging elements

* Interact with attendees at promotional events

* Capture and recap promotional events via photos, video, audio, social media, etc

* Drive promotional vehicles

* Assist with promotional proposals for concerts & events

What You'll Need:

* Excellent driving record, valid driver's license and proof of insurability

* Physical ability to stand for multiple hours and lift or move 40-pound objects

* Organizational skills; ability to prioritize and effectively manage time

* Previous experience in outdoor promotions and/or marketing/customer service is a plus

* Experience in media, events and/or customer service is a plus

* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus

* Interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with others and maintain composure when faced with difficult situations

What You'll Bring:

* Ability to work within standardized procedures and an understanding of when to escalate

* Skills to solve straightforward problems using established procedures

* Close attention to detail, following up until issues are resolved
