The Senior Vice President Guest Operations reports to the Chief Operations Officer and is responsible for the oversight of Airport Operations, Guest Experience, and Inflight Services. This leader is responsible for the day-to-day Airport Operations, Guest Services training, policy, and procedure compliance, Guest Experience standardization and optimization as well as the Guest Contact Center daily operations. In addition, this Sr. VP is also responsible for the day-to-day Inflight Operations, Flight Attendant training, policy and procedure compliance and Inflight Team Members.

This Sr. VP will work closely with the Breeze commercial planning team to meet strategic goals and ensure operations success by tactically building our operations plans. Finally, this leader is responsible for analyzing current and past operations, creating corrective action plans then executing the plan to ensure future success.

Here’s what you’ll do

  • Work closely with the COO to establish clear overall business and operating strategy for the Airport Operations, Guest Experience, and Inflight Services teams
  • Use analytical data to ensure operational excellence and to identify opportunities for enhancement of the operation
  • Plan, communicate and implement the safety programs required to ensure a safe workplace for Breeze Team Members, Guest, Business Partners and aircraft
  • Responsible for the training and compliance for all internal and external station regulatory compliance programs
  • Responsible for the growth and development of the leaders on the Guest Operations team
  • Oversee all airport guest service ground activities to meet or exceed on time performance goals
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement ways to improve reliability, cycle time, quality and cost
  • Execute the strategy for the daily operation of the Guest Empowerment team
  • Ensure Guest experience standardization and insourcing optimization
  • Achieve a superior level of Insight Service by overseeing Flight Attendant work performance, safety, appearance, conduct and dependability
  • Oversee all activities of inflight Training to include flight attendant new hire and recurrent training
  • Ensures compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Receive all operational constraints from each department and ensure execution is possible compared to the plan and providing feedback to the operations and planning teams
  • Continuously analyze current workflows and processes and implements process improvement
  • Work closely with the Sr. VP Operations to identify issues, find resolutions and ensure operational excellence
  • Be responsible for the selection of technology and tools that allow for growth while supporting Breeze’s spend smartly culture
  • Provide strong leadership that inspires team members to reach their highest potential

Here’s what you need to be successful

Minimum Qualification

  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in airline industry
  • Seven (7) years of experience in an airline leadership role
  • Five (5) years of experience in airport operations, customer service or other relevant airline operations role
  • Experience leading a large and diverse work force
  • Full understanding of airline operations
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Current Passport with the ability to travel to and from the United States without restrictions
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available for emergency response on short notice

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university
  • Extensive knowledge of Power BI or tableau reporting
  • Experience in Inflight Operations and/or Training

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
