Breakwater Enrichment Center Front Desk Coordinator - PT School Year

Breakwater Enrichment Center is accepting applications for a part-time afterschool Front Desk
Person in our vibrant and dynamic School Year AfterCare and Enrichment Program.

About the Position:

We seek a creative, compassionate, and energetic AfterCare & Enrichment Front Desk
Coordinator who has a strong interest in child-centered programming and community building.
The AfterCare & Enrichment Front Desk Coordinator will check students in and out of the
program each afternoon, keep track of where students are during the program hours, and be a
friendly face of the program to students and families.

Our AfterCare and Enrichment programs serve children from Breakwater School as well as
students from surrounding public schools.

Schedule and Start Date:

Hours for the position are part-time. School year hours are 15 - 20 hours per week, Monday -
Friday, depending on start time (minimum hours are 2:45 - 5:45 pm, but may be able to start as
early as 1:15 pm). Opportunities for full time hours during vacation camp weeks in February
and April. The position begins when a suitable candidate is found.

Qualifications:

• History of professional work experience with children in Kindergarten through 6th

• Demonstrated ability to engage in positive relationships with staff, supervisors,

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, detail oriented environment.
• Ability to be flexible, work collaboratively and plan with other teachers, and support

the program as a whole

Certifications:

• As per the Office of Child & Family Services, new employees cannot begin work until they have

• CPR and First Aid preferred; not required at time of hire

Compensation:

• Hourly at $16-$18/hr
