Overview

The Director, Sales Finance - United is the key business partner for both the SVP, Supplier Business Development - Diageo and the VP, Supplier Business Development - Moet. This role will oversee the creation of supplier P&Ls, create trackers and KPIs to analyze promotional spends, and track contractual commitments. The role will drive standardization and governance around all financial reporting for Diageo and Moet.

Responsibilities
    Create Supplier P&Ls - Create both historical and projected supplier P&Ls ensuring accuracy, consistency, and governance around the process. Present P&L findings both internally and external driving insights and actions.
  • Track Commitments -
    • Coordinate with markets to create consistent supplier spend trackers.
    • Track and report on other supplier commitments on a regular cadence
  • Perform detailed profitability analysis monthly and provide insights.
  • Coordinate forecasting processes with the markets
  • Lead supplier annual budgeting processes
  • Work with supplier partners on new Ways of Working and develop best practices around monthly and quarterly financial reviews.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis as directed by SVPs and VPs
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting and/or finance
  • Advanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and Reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone

  • Requires conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implications, where sufficient information may not be available.
