Breakthru Beverage Group is Hiring a Director, Finance - Market Operations Near Cicero, IL

Overview

The Director, Finance – Market Operations is responsible for operational and financial reporting, development and reporting of Key Performance Indicators, operational analysis, network optimization, transportation, distribution & warehousing, return on assets and continuous operational improvement for Market Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operational and financial reporting, development and reporting of Key Performance Indicators, operational analysis, network optimization, transportation, distribution & warehousing, return on assets and continuous operational improvement.
    • Analyze monthly financial results from both a P&L and metric basis and work closely with finance regional leads to provide variance and gap analysis and align on opportunities to drive improvements.
  • Support operational business partners. Align and standardize reporting, processes, KPIs, etc. across U.S. operations.
  • Direct the development of new tools, processes, and projects that enhance the Operations across the U.S. Markets. Specific focus areas could include:
    • Month-end high to low level financials statements specific to operations that are consistent across all markets.
    • Trending on results for each market, current year, previous year, two years back, forecast.
    • Operations Activity Based Costing Budget Template
    • Indirect Spend tracking and reporting on non-compliance / budget overages.
    • SKU / Supplier review process analyzing fully loaded costs to determine true profitability of supplier / Skus.
    • AOP Planning, templates, create business cases for initiatives, track/trend investments and results
  • Lead Capital Planning Model and track spend and payback vs targets.
  • Analyze Inventory across all markets and make efficiency recommendations to markets.
    • Inventory Reporting, Analysis:
      • ABC analysis for pick locations. (Velocity Reporting)
      • Beer Code / Rotation Reporting
      • Breakage / Shrinkage Analysis
      • Loss Prevention Reporting
      • Inventory Accuracy Reporting (shorts, mispicks, out of stocks, etc.)
  • Finance partner to support, validate and influence major cross functional initiatives and liaison with operations teams on financial impacts
  • Implementing systems, training on finance expectations at each individual site 
  • Support M&A projects with pre work, modeling synergies, sensitivity scenario analysis, etc.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting and/or finance
  • Advanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and Reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
