Aquatic Directors are responsible for the maintenance and administration of aquatic facility & pool. Specific job responsibilities are recruiting and training staff, monitoring pool maintenance, implementing aquatic programs, maintaining records, educating the public on aquatic safety, and building relationships with families. Those interested in an Aquatic Director job should be able to demonstrate the following skills throughout their resumes: knowledge of aquatic services, managerial and administration skills, customer service training, effective communication, computer literacy, with 7 years of aquatics coaching with ALL Abilities. Successful example resumes make display of a Bachelor’s Degree in an area such as recreation management and of lifeguard certification.
